Wild Hill Apiary

A warm welcome to Wild Hill Apiary.

A little about us, who we are and what we do.

Robert and I started keeping bees around 5 years ago when we bought our first hive and joined the British Beekeeping Association (BBKA). It started as an increasing hobby which has turned into a passion for the conservation of our native bees. Over the last few years, we have grown not only in our passion for our bees but the realisation started to hit home how due to climate change and people's day-to-day lives have impacted all our pollinators.

Initially, we decided to start to make lots of small changes in what goods we bought or products we used to make us more eco-friendly and our daily lives more sustainable. Soon we realised that these actions on our own made little to no impact, being proud parents of our sons and grandparents to eight wonderful grandchildren we wanted to try to make a difference for our family and the younger general population as they grow up in this ever-changing world.

Over the last year we have grown our services from producing just honey to a wider selection of products with 100% natural ingredients which are all environmentally safer, kinder and sustainable to this beautiful world we live in. As our passion grew we decided it wasn’t enough for us to just offer our delicious honey, beeswax products and pollinating plants. We knew we had to reach out to the wider population to educate others to realise the seriousness of the decline in bees and other pollinators showing the small steps they can take to rectify this.

This was the point where we started going into Educational facilities, youth centres and other places where communities meet so we could help people understand the importance of our pollinators and why we need them. Follow the story of our small family-run business and support us to help others share the knowledge to conserve our native pollinators. You can help in different ways by making small changes in your life, purchasing some of our bee products, planting native plants or taking part in becoming the next generation of beekeepers…. Have a wonderful day.

You can support us your local beekeepers and help the planet by purchasing our locally produced honey, beeswax products, pollinating plants or by taking part in a beekeeping or educational experience from our small family business! When you buy local, you’re not just enjoying handcrafted goods but pure raw natural honey which has so many health benefits especially when it's local to you. You will be supporting sustainable practices that protect our precious pollinators, we care for our bees responsibly, ensuring healthy hives and thriving ecosystems.

By choosing our products you help sustain local bee populations, promote biodiversity and reduce the carbon footprint of mass-produced and often imported alternatives. Investing in educational experiences fosters awareness and inspires future generations to protect our pollinators.
